Contemporizing jesus.

Usually Jesus is shown in a white cloak sometimes with a red robe and with sheeps and other villagers around him, but to fit jesus in todays world his outfit seemed still a little out of era.
In my work,  I show jesus wearing a bright yellow tee shirt with comfy pants/pajamas and nice brown shoes. Following the trend I give jesus a man bun  as it fits right with his beard and long hair.
The background has a curvy line pattern which I use to show that jesus is a god , has power and radiates his positivity around him to everyone. The blue color in the background is used as calmness, or  peaceful vibes.

More human than human

The movie "More human than human" basically explains how humans think and have been thinking about another body in an exaggerated manner and how we choose an unrealistic representation of our bodies over a realistic one. As archeologists studied, they found that it wasn't only a particular place where the features of a human bodies had been exaggerated to make a sculpture but also in different eras. From small toy like sculptures to huge ones, there was one thing common and that was the exaggeration of the body parts that we tend to find attractive. With different kind of art also came different ways of exaggerating the body. In paintings ,artists would love to play with the color, the form rather than the shape. The artists also observed the trends in their era and reflected on their society through their work.

What I take from this movie is, that as an artist or a designer, we must recognize the trend of the society and use our technology or even just our common observations and use that knowledge to create new thing such that it gets popular and successful.
